DENVER, Colo. (247marketnews.com) — The names on today’s watchlist may look familiar, but the stories are moving. NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ:NTHI) is approaching an important FDA discussion, XIAO-I Corporation (NASDAQ:AIXI) remains a high-volatility AI stock, and BIO-key International (NASDAQ:BKYI) is adding government customers in the Gulf. Meanwhile, Bolt Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ:BOLT) announced a major acquisition and financing package, Nautilus Biotechnology (NASDAQ:NAUT) is preparing to report earnings, and AI OKTO (NASDAQ:AIOK) declared a substantial special dividend. Across communications technology with ClearOne (NASDAQ:CLRO), staffing and recruiting with Robert Half (NYSE:RHI), and satellite cybersecurity with WISeSat.Space (NASDAQ: SAIQ).
NeOnc: Breakout Meets High-Stakes Clinical Calendar
NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ:NTHI) moved above the psychologically important $3 level. The breakout follows a recovery from a recent low near $2.50 and an earlier move above its nine-day exponential moving average.
The technical setup is only one part of the story. NeOnc announced an MOU with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health covering proposed scientific exchange, specialist training, real-world evidence and the evaluation of potential clinical research opportunities. The company also reported that two children in Abu Dhabi were receiving investigational NEO100 through its Compassionate Care program.
NeOnc has also described an early clinical observation involving a critically ill three-year-old boy. According to the company, his treating physicians observed that he was breathing independently without ventilator support and beginning to move his legs after treatment with investigational NEO100 began.
The next major date highlighted by the company is November 17, when NeOnc is scheduled to meet with the FDA regarding NEO212’s proposed Phase 2 study design and potential regulatory pathways.
AI OKTO: $3.50 Special Dividend Puts Shipping Stock in Spotlight
AI OKTO (NASDAQ:AIOK) announced a one-time special dividend of $3.50 per common share, a substantial distribution relative to its recent trading price. The company, an international ship-owning business focused on energy transportation, said the dividend is payable in cash or common shares to eligible shareholders, with payment expected on or about November 25, 2026.
The company identified November 2 as the record date and said the stock would trade with due bills during the November 2–25 period because the distribution exceeds 25% of the share price. Buyers during the due-bill period are entitled to the dividend under the announced terms, so investors need to understand the timetable and settlement mechanics rather than treating the headline amount as an uncomplicated cash windfall.
ClearOne: Delisting Risk and Corporate Restructuring
ClearOne (NASDAQ:CLRO), a provider of audio and visual communications solutions, is facing a serious listing challenge. The company disclosed that Nasdaq determined it failed to demonstrate compliance with the $2.5 million minimum stockholders’ equity requirement. ClearOne said it intended to request a hearing before a Nasdaq Hearings Panel and present a plan to regain compliance.
Bolt Biotherapeutics: $120 Million Financing Package Rewrites Biotech Story
Bolt Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ:BOLT) announced that it had agreed to acquire Prana Therapies and secured a concurrent $120 million private placement, with the potential for an additional $60 million if accompanying warrants are exercised. The announcement represents a major strategic shift and could significantly expand Bolt’s development pipeline.
At the center of the transaction is PRA-216, a bispecific antibody targeting IL-4Rα and TSLP. The candidate is in Phase 2 development for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and atopic dermatitis, with a Phase 2 study in eosinophilic esophagitis planned. The company said patient data from all four trials are expected to begin arriving in the second quarter of 2027.
Bolt intends to use Prana’s pipeline and its proprietary INSPIRE platform to advance next-generation multispecific antibodies. The acquisition also brings Prana co-founder and former CEO Sheila Gujrathi, M.D., into Bolt’s executive team and board. The combined business will have a different therapeutic focus and a larger set of clinical milestones for investors to follow.
Nautilus Biotechnology: Protein-Analysis Technology Heads into Earnings Catalyst
Nautilus Biotechnology (NASDAQ:NAUT) is developing a platform designed to measure proteins at the single-molecule level, with the broader goal of improving understanding of the proteome, the collection of proteins produced by biological systems. Better measurement of proteins and their variations could ultimately help researchers investigate disease mechanisms, identify biomarkers and explore new drug targets.
In October, a Nature Methods publication highlighted research using Nautilus technology to examine the landscape of tau proteoforms. Tau is a protein of particular interest in neurodegenerative disease research, and the work explored disease-associated modifications that may offer new clues for biomarkers and therapeutic targets. This represents a scientific milestone, although it does not establish that the platform is clinically validated for diagnosing or treating a particular disease.
Nautilus will publish its third-quarter 2026 financial results October 27, before the market opens.
Robert Half: Staffing Shows Early Signs of Life After Difficult Hiring Cycle
Robert Half (NYSE:RHI), the global talent solutions and consulting company, reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.359 billion and net income of approximately $50 million, or $0.49 per diluted share. Revenue was broadly flat compared with the year-earlier period, while net income increased from $43 million and diluted earnings per share rose from $0.43.
One of the more encouraging details was a return to adjusted year-over-year growth in its Talent Solutions business. Adjusted revenue in the segment rose 2%, marking its first return to growth since 2022. Permanent-placement revenue increased 6%, supported by demand for full-time accounting and finance professionals, while contract talent revenue increased 1%.
The results suggest that parts of the staffing market may be stabilizing after a prolonged period of caution among employers. Yet the picture remains uneven: Protiviti, Robert Half’s consulting business, recorded a 3% adjusted revenue decline, with U.S. operations down 5%. Clients continue to balance hiring needs against economic uncertainty and cost controls.
BIO-key International: Seven Gulf Customers in Six Months
BIO-key International (NASDAQ: BKYI) announced another Middle East government customer on October 22, bringing its reported total to seven new customers in the Gulf region over six months. The company supplies identity and access management systems and biometric authentication technology to organizations seeking to strengthen cybersecurity while simplifying how employees access sensitive systems.
The latest deployment combines PortalGuard enterprise identity and access management with biometric authentication. BIO-key’s broader product portfolio includes Passkey:YOU FIDO2 passwordless authentication, its WEB-key biometric engine and EcoID III fingerprint scanners. Its Identity-Bound Biometrics approach aims to tie authentication to a person’s identity rather than relying entirely on passwords, devices or access tokens.
The regional expansion follows a series of developments, including a September partnership with Al Majlis Group and full FIDO Alliance certification for Passkey:YOU. In October, BIO-key also named cybersecurity veteran Stephen Morrow president of PortalGuard, a move intended to support wider adoption of the identity and access management business.
The commercial opportunity is clear: government and enterprise customers face ongoing pressure to reduce credential theft and improve identity security. But the number of customer wins alone does not reveal the financial value of each contract, deployment costs or how quickly revenue will be recognized. Investors will be watching for evidence that the expanding Gulf footprint translates into recurring business and improved financial performance.
XIAO-I: Potential Squeeze Story Is Back, but Dilution Remains a Wild Card
XIAO-I Corporation (NASDAQ:AIXI) attracted renewed attention after shares reportedly doubled following our October 2 report, “Squeeze Could Be Brewing.” The Chinese artificial intelligence company has been the subject of heightened speculative interest, with traders focusing on its volatile price action and the September change to its American depositary share structure.
On September 8, XIAO-I changed the ratio from one ADS representing 60 ordinary shares to one ADS representing 420 ordinary shares. The change was economically equivalent to a one-for-seven reverse ADS split for ADS holders, with no change in the underlying ordinary shares.
WISeSat.Space: Satellite Cybersecurity Advances as Post-Quantum Protection Moves Into Orbit
WISeSat.Space (NASDAQ:SAIQ) entered the public markets in October after completing its business combination with Columbus Acquisition Corp. The company is focused on secure satellite communications for Internet of Things applications, combining space infrastructure with cybersecurity and digital identity technology.
On October 20, WISeSat announced the successful launch and deployment of FOSSASAT-2E27, a 6U satellite developed by strategic partner FOSSA Systems aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 Bandwagon-5 mission. The satellite carries VaultIC secure-element technology from SEALSQ (NASDAQ: LAES), creating another opportunity to test hardware-based cybersecurity under actual orbital conditions.
The collaboration is designed to validate security technologies across up to six selected satellite missions, including potential next-generation post-quantum components, subject to technical readiness and integration. The long-term ambition is to protect connected devices and satellite communications against evolving cyber threats, including risks that future advances in quantum computing could pose to some existing cryptographic systems.
The successful launch is a tangible technical milestone, but it does not establish that WISeSat has a scaled commercial network or a profitable satellite-services business. Investors will want to see evidence of reliable in-orbit operation, further deployments, customer adoption and commercially meaningful revenue. For SAIQ, the story is moving from technology development toward validation—but commercialization remains the larger test.
