Mixed Media Creations (MMC) is proud to announce that its documentary video for Ranch Hands Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope has been named a 2026 Silver Telly Award Winner in the General-Documentary category.

The award recognizes MMC’s work on a deeply moving documentary created to raise awareness for Ranch Hands Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope, a safe, trauma-informed home for male survivors of sex trafficking. The project was produced as part of MMC’s ongoing partnership with Ranch Hands Rescue and donated in support of the organization’s mission to provide healing, hope, and recovery for survivors.

Over the years, Mixed Media Creations has partnered with Ranch Hands Rescue to help elevate awareness, support fundraising efforts, and share stories that inspire action. This award-winning documentary represents the latest chapter in that commitment, using strategic storytelling to shine a light on an issue that is often overlooked, misunderstood, and urgently in need of greater public awareness.

Produced entirely as a donated project, the film reflects MMC’s belief that creative work can be a powerful force for good, helping mission-driven organizations reach broader audiences and deepen community impact.

The Telly Awards annually showcase the best work created across video, for all screens. Receiving over 13,000 entries globally from 6 continents and all 50 states, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers from around the world.

“Video has never been more contested, more creative, or more consequential than it is right now,” said Amanda Needham, Managing Director of The Telly Awards. “The Telly Awards has had a front-row seat to this industry for 47 years, and today’s entertainment is happening in multiple formats, across every screen, and at every budget level.”

For MMC, a woman-owned creative agency based in North Texas that has served clients nationwide since 2007, this global recognition is especially meaningful. The agency’s work was honored alongside nationally recognized brands, major media companies, and leading creative teams, proving that meaningful stories, when told with care and purpose, can stand on an international stage.

The Ranch Hands Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope documentary video brings attention to an issue that is often misunderstood, underrepresented, and urgently in need of greater public awareness. Through heartfelt testimonials from team members, counselors, partners, and advocates, the film sheds light on the real experiences of boys and men who have survived sex trafficking.

Ranch Hands Rescue is a nonprofit human and animal sanctuary serving trauma survivors and special needs animals. In addition to rescuing and rehabilitating abused and neglected farm animals, the organization provides trauma-informed counseling and operates Bob’s House of Hope, a recovery program created specifically for male survivors of sex trafficking.

The documentary was designed not only to explain the work of Ranch Hands Rescue but to help viewers feel the weight, urgency, and hope behind the mission. It gives space to the voices of those closest to the work and highlights the life-changing care provided through Bob’s House of Hope, where survivors can find safety, stability, community, and a path toward healing.

“Our relationship with Ranch Hands Rescue goes beyond this single project. We have had the privilege of supporting their mission through an ongoing partnership, and this documentary was an opportunity to help tell a story that deserves greater awareness. While this was a donated project, our team approached it with the same level of strategy, creativity, and care we bring to every client engagement,” said Susie Carter, Founder and President of Mixed Media Creations. “Ranch Hands Rescue and Bob’s House of Hope are doing extraordinary work for survivors who are too often overlooked, and we wanted this video to honor that mission with the care it deserves. Our team poured strategy, creativity, and heart into every detail because that is who we are and how we work.”

The donated production reflects MMC’s long-standing mission to leave every situation better than they found it. For the agency, that means using creative talent not only to build brands but also to support organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives.

“At MMC, we believe every project deserves care, whether it is a full-scale campaign, a website, a video, or a donated project for a nonprofit we believe in,” Carter added. “To see this video recognized by the Telly Awards is an incredible honor, but the greatest reward is knowing that more people may learn about Ranch Hands Rescue, Bob’s House of Hope, and the critical need for support for male survivors.”

The Silver Telly Award is a powerful reminder of what can happen when strategy, compassion, and storytelling come together in service of a meaningful mission.
